The Project ... The Youth Exchange "European Citizenship" will occur in Portugal, in Oeiras Council and will involve 10 European Countries, with 50 participants in total. During the time that the youngsters will spend in Portugal, they will have the chance to know the local community and to learn about the culture and habits of Portugal and share at the same time their own culture with the rest of the group. In the end of the exchange we hope that the youngsters became more aware of the role they must have in the society and the importance of European citizenship. We also hope that this can be the beginning of several individual and group projects in each participant home town.
